Il progetto “Majella Sound Camp” è un innovativo evento turistico culturale che attraverso molteplici performance artistiche (concerti, mostre, installazioni video,
dj sets) farà immergere gratuitamente il pubblico nella natura rigogliosa del Parco Nazionale della Majella, tra le bellezze paesaggistiche di San Valentino in Abruzzo Citeriore e le bontà enogastronomiche locali. Il particolare connubio fra natura, arte, sport, enogastronomia, il rispetto per l’ambiente, l’incontro tra il pubblico e gli artisti, sono il cuore della manifestazione e segnano un tratto distintivo del festival “Majella Sound Camp”. L’iniziativa, alla sua seconda edizione, dopo il grande successo di pubblico riscosso nel 2012, ha l’obiettivo di far conoscere e valorizzare un’area verde di grande pregio naturalistico sita nel cuore di San Valentino, “Il Boschetto”, facilitandone la fruizione con diversi servizi di supporto per coordinarsi in un contesto ricco di bellezze da scoprire: percorsi guidati, escursioni a cavallo e in mountain bike, spazi attrezzati per il campeggio gratuito, giochi per bambini, aree ristoro con le migliori specialità tipiche Abruzzesi. Le aree spettacoli daranno spazio a protagonisti di differenti discipline artistiche per una molteplicità di esibizioni musicali, dj-set, installazioni, mostre temporanee, ecc. che daranno vita a inediti percorsi di conoscenza e dialogo tra queste diverse esperienze artistiche e renderanno il festival un grande momento di confronto e arrichimento culturale. “Majella Sound Camp” is a freshly conceived idea of enjoying
nature and its beauties in a context that, through various art performances, (concerts, exhibitions, videos, dJ sets), will introduce you into the luxuriant nature of the Majella National Park. The beautiful landscape of San Valentino in Abruzzo Citeriore, together with the delicious local food and wine, will let you taste and enjoy a “corner” of Abruzzo. The special blend of nature, art, sport, gastronomy, respect for the environment, the encounter between people and artists, are the pulsating heart of the event, a distinctive feature of “Majella Sound Camp”. After the great success enjoyed in 2012, this year we want to promote a beautiful green area of San Valentino in Abruzzo Citeriore: “Il Boschetto”. Several activities and services, (guided tours, horse-riding, mountain bike, equipped areas for free camping, games for kids, refreshment stands with our typical and delicious food), will help you to discover our beautiful village and its surroundings. The performances mentioned before, including live music, dj-sets, videos and exibitions, will create a different way of living nature and a meeting point between different disciplines. We want our festival to become a great moment of confrontation and cultural enrichment.
